Roman has come home because his mother's health is not as well as it used to be. Not wanting her to have more problems, he and his brothers cook up a scheme to get her grandchildren........ finally. Roman's first thought? It's about Charlotte. Charlotte wants to not feel the electrical chemistry that strikes her whenever Roman is near. It's been ten years, and still her body reacts as if it were only minutes before. She is trying to get her shop to be successful, she does not have time for distractions. Her body has other plans, however, and they involve Roman. This book has stood the test of time. Though this was not my first read through, it was a delight to come back to characters I have loved all along. This Chandler Brothers series is a hot mess of fun, chemistry, and family. Still worth reading, only now it has a new sexy cover to go with it. I give this a 3/5 Kitty's Paws UP! ***I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This is book one in The Chandler Brothers series and it features Roman and Charlotte. They are both back in their home town for different reasons. They discover that their spark is still there but Charlotte can’t be with someone that lives life like her father always has. Roman has ulterior motives and you’ll discover those when you read this fantastic book. The story line is great but Charlotte’s attitude towards relationships and her father is much too strong and too long lasting in this story. I also expected the Alice Magregor incident to play a bigger role in the story. Regardless, the story line was great and I look forward to book two.

I love a good second chance romance and boy was this a good one. It also has a meddling mother who may just find some romance herself. I loved Roman and Charlotte. You can instantly tell they are still attracted to one another, but has anything changed from before? Roman and his brothers are great. They already have me hooked. I loved the small town setting and I loved watching Roman see the potential he never saw before. Charlotte is an easy character to like. She has such a big kind heart. It makes me wish I could be friends with her because she comes off as someone you would want to be friends with. There is a little mystery going on where Roman's brother Rick has his hands full. I loved the touch of humor this book gave too. It's an easy book to get lost in. The characters hook you right from the beginning and then you don't want to set the book down. This is a book you won't want to miss!
