Publisher's summary

He’s the bad boy of baseball who’s about to lose everything. She needs a husband to get custody of her teenage sister. Suddenly a marriage of convenience doesn’t look so bad.

Pitcher Jaxon Prescott has a lot on his plate. Major League Baseball. Reputation as a player. And as of this morning? He’s on the verge of losing it all. He didn’t mean to sleep with his general manager’s daughter. Sometimes the paparazzi finds out who’s in your bed before you do. But a sizzling moment went viral, and now everything he’s worked for is at risk.

What’s a bad boy to do? Marry his little sister’s best friend to save his image, even if it’s the opposite of everything he wants and believes in.

Macy Walker is the sole guardian of her step-sister until the girl’s mother returns and wants her daughter back. In order to win custody, Macy needs to provide stability and marrying someone would do the trick. Luckily for her, her best friend’s brother needs a wife.

They’re this close to getting exactly what they want - as long as they don’t fall in love.

Sexy and sweet romance about another Dare-Prescott

A modern marriage of convenience that becomes a love match. Jaxon Prescott needs to clean up his image and family friend Macy Walker needs to present the image of providing a stable home for her teenage sister in a new custody challenge. Lots of Dare Prescott advice and help though a couple of incidences seemed a little too tailored to the fictional story. Who leaves a 15 year old and a couple of her friends home alone for an evening out knowing that the custody battle is looming and knowing the potential for a wild party. More realistic would have been to have an oblivious family member to chaperone and still have the kids cause trouble.. also the premise is a bit off because a quicky marriage to a playboy for better optics takes a real stretch of the imagination. Very concise plot and lightening speed romance but a cute couple and nice addition to the Dare family series. Narration was spot on. A bit pricey for a credit- should have been a book audible combination but if you like the series this one will not disappoint!

All Good Things in Life is Worth Waiting For

I enjoyed this book more than book 1 and book 2. Also liked Jackson, more so than Austin and Damon, Jackson was spontaneous and with a sense of humor. At times, I felt sorry for Jackson, it felt at times that everyone was on his case, except for Macy, who had a crush on him before they became an item. I also liked Link, Jackson's friend, he was really frank with Jackson and spoke his mind. Not crazy about Hannah, was a spoil and ungrateful brat
