About this ebook

This hot property’s lucky streak has run out.

Just one short season ago, major league center fielder John Roper had it all: the looks—and personal life—of a sports hero and the public's adoration. But this hot property's lucky streak has run out. After a World Series disaster, fans diss him, shock jocks mock him and his dysfunctional family hassles him for money he really can't spare.

Now it's up to him, and Hot Zone publicist Amy Stone, to get his life back on track.

Amy finds it's easier said than done. What with the constant intrusions of his nutty family, a crazed fan playing stalker, and Roper's refusal to put his own needs first, she's starting to think that life in the fast lane isn't all it's cracked up to be. But when the two retreat to a secluded lodge, the sexy center fielder throws Amy a curveball—one she never saw coming.…

It's time for Micki Jordan's baseball playing best friend to get his story told. I was waiting for his book because I loved getting to know him through the series and hello he is a baseball player. I couldn't have picked anyone better for him than Amy. They definitely complement each other. Amy has her work cut out for her on her first assignment for Hot Zone. John is in slump in more ways than one right now and he needs the help of Amy get to him back on track. Easier said then done with everything going on in his life. I liked the chemistry between John and Amy. My favorite part of the book is when they're at the lodge. It was so romantic and playful. I'm sorry to see this series end. I really enjoyed it!

Oh I completely love the Hot Zone series. This cover is HOT too!!!! We have our favorite cousin's story...Amy! And Roper is just yummy and plain sexy. We met Amy in the previous book. She made a small appearance before, and now she is back to start a brand new life. She needs to rediscover herself and meets Roper at her cousin's wedding. I am rambling on and on because I loved this book. But I will stop there! I do not want to put in any spoilers in my review. Let's talk about the things I loved about the storyline. You continue with Yank and his girls. They already make me feel like I am part of the Hot Zone clan. I laughed in a few places. I fell for Roper and he has a piece of my heart. Amy is independent and sassy. She has her mom and aunt that are amazingly crazy. You will love this new family we get. Roper has a hard time saying no to his family, but Amy gives him the support he needs to finally put himself first. The amazing sexy scenes are out of this world! If you read any of Carly's books you know you have a winner in Hot Property! This book deserves 10 stars! Sometimes in a series, the last book is just an average story because you have to find an ending. Hot Property was written so that you get the end of a series with a sense of completion! You have to read this book, I know you will love it as much as I did!

I enjoyed reading Hot Property, the fourth book in Carly Phillips’ Hot Zone series, once again. I liked how Spencer’s niece, Amy Stone enters the fold, joining the Hot Zone for a PR position. Amy has the challenge of reeling in John Roper who plays for the NY Renegades. John is a much more complicated person than he lets on to others. Instead of rehabbing his injury he focuses on helping to solve the problems of his family. As Amy attempts to keep him in line and focused on recovery, John would rather work on exploring their chemistry. I’m so glad that Ms. Phillips ended the series with John and Amy’s story since John has played a role in each of the previous Hot Zone books. I enjoyed this series when it first came out and enjoyed them again this time around. All four of the original books sit on my keeper shelf. This book is not the sexy story as are Phillips’ more recent books, but still has those loveable characters that you want to cheer on, hoping for their happy ending. The characters were well written and authentic. The story line was riveting and kept my attention to the very end. I genuinely enjoyed reading this book and had trouble putting this book down. I highly recommend this book to other readers. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
