I've read several books written by Erika Wilde; she is becoming one of my favorite authors. I can’t wait to read more of her books. This is the first book in the Dare Crossover Series; it is a stand-alone book. The story is about Jessica & Derek; she’s his business partner’s younger sister and has had a crush on him for a long time. She wins him for the weekend at a charity auction. I received a free copy of this book via booksprout and I’m voluntarily leaving a review.

4.5⭐ Carly Phillips and Erika Wilde reunite for some more fun and frolics. As they return to the world of the Kingston/Dares for Derek Bettencourts Story. Derek being the brother of Nikki from Carly Phillips Just One Taste and the man who finds himself signed up for a bachelor charity auction. Where his business partners younger sister Jessica ends up winning him. After getting into a bidding war with Derek's ex-fiancée Claire. The ultimate mean girl. But Jessica is no longer intimidated by her or anyone else for that matter. Especially Derek, who she's had a major crush on and Jessica is ready and planning a bit of playful pay back. Although it turns out Derek is happy to indulge her whims especially when Jessica's plans and the flirty banter ends with them hitting the sheets. But not everyone is happy to see Derek with the curvy, fun loving and sweet Jessica. And with sweetness, heat, a little drama, likable characters and a lovely message of body positivity. This was a really enjoyable and engaging read and I can't wait for what Carly and Erika have to offer next! I would happily recommend Just Another Hookup to all. Carly Phillips, whose real name is Karen Drogin, was born on July 7, 1965 in New York. She received an undergraduate degree from Brandeis University. She eventually became a lawyer, but never really enjoyed practicing law. After having her first child, she decided she wanted to write a romance novel.
