Perfect partner

The narrator was very boring. It would’ve went much better if you had more than one person to read the storyline, I am hoping if you have other books, please find someone else to read because she just didn’t do it for me.

Soooooo Slooooow

Couldn’t get my head around why Chelsea wouldn’t just tell Griffin she was unable to have children. If that had been a deal breaker for him, then he wasn’t the right man for her. Period. While I liked the legal logistics lain out about custody and how to safely escape from an abusive spouse, I don’t see Chelsea’s parents doing a 180 on their priorities and moral compass when it came to family vs. social status. An unrealistic scenario. Midway through I was saying can we stop stalling and just fess up already? A relationship can’t be built on lies of commission or omission, so that hurdle had to be cleared before the happily ever after. Too much hemming and hawing and not enough romance in this Romance Novel.

Pulls the heart strings!

As someone who has infertility issues ( endometriosis, PCOS and uterine fibroids) and struggles constantly with the same thoughts and feelings as Chelsea- I related ti this book on SOO MANY LEVELS! I wish more authors would make their characters perfectly imperfect and touch base with real issues! Definitely will follow and read more books by this author!

I have so many words

What did I just spend 8 hours of my life doing listening to this audio that is about a man he is such a woman hater it’s beyond belief and I thought like yeah it’s going to get better he’s great with the kid but he doesn’t Chelsea is great and grown with her but he’s the same a giant jerk and he has so many double standards like ‘ you should know me better than that ‘ but then have the nerve to be the biggest jerk there is and accuse her of things that he shinier better about as well the hypocrisy I swear and then yeah I get his past his trauma but it doesn’t give you an excuse to be a horrid of a person with no just cause and then you get closer to the end and rush to redeem him but it makes not sense with the time line what so ever so we have to have him make this huge grand gesture so that you forget how horrible he treated her ‘ that in the past’ honey in the past you said that to her 4 days ago and guess what a week later doesn’t change much either I mean come on , I normally love books like this and I really like this author but this book was just not it and I kept holding out hope only to be let down .

Effecrive Narrators are important

Im interested to finish the story but narrator is sososososo boring, monotonous, so slow. I started yesterday and after 1 day i’m not halfway done. I fell asleep 3x 😩. This narrator maybe effective in a diff genre?

Frustrating

The secrets and lies and postponing everything makes my skin crawl and not in a “good suspense story” kind of way. More of a “want to shake the characters by the shoulders and tell them to grow up” kind of way. Narrator was good.

Good story

Was it predictable maybe, but I was actually surprised in the end she didn’t miraculously end up pregnant. This book was no more predictable than any other romance book. The story was good and I thought had real emotions and her feelings about having children seemed spot on. The people leaving crappy reviews maybe should look for another genre.

Great story line but…

Normally I LOVE the writer and her stories and this one had a great story line but…it was WAAAYYYY too repetitive with the characters and their internal dialogues. I almost started counting how many times they repeated the same thoughts over and over again. This story could have been 5 stars and done in 1/2 the time.
