Carly’s Corner – Welcome

Brady - Jan 2014

Brady – Jan 2014

I decided I needed a place to say what I wanted you to know besides Facebook. So welcome to my corner of the world! I can tell you that I plan for this blog to function much like my Facebook Page in that I’m going to post information on my books and jokes or hot guys when I don’t have as much to say.

I’m sick with a bad cold and feeling miserable. I had Bailey by my side when my hubby took Brady out to play with his dog friends in the snow. Now I’m going to get back to work on DARE TO DESIRE (Alex’s story – 4/10/14).

As it’s SATURDAY, I’ll ask you here what I ask you on Facebook – WHAT ARE YOU READING TODAY?
Let’s talk books and again … WELCOME!

NOTE – PLEASE be patient if you don’t see your posts, It’s making me approve each. Another glitch to be worked out!

Hi Carly. Hope it’s a great day for you. I just finished Marrying Dr Maverick by Karen Rose Smith. A great little read. I think this is a great forum. With all the sponsorship FB has these days you really have to have another outlet to help promote and to just verbalize.

Just a comment to Lori Howe and you, Carly… that recipe for a cold (and cough) is marvelous, but add a little whiskey (or a lot)… it goes down easier. My mother jarred this up for me when I was in college (in a dry county I might add) and my roommate (a singer) and I lived on it. I’m just finishing up Jill Shalvis, It Had To Be You. And loved your Dare to Love, can’t wait to read the next one.

Just started reading “Styxx” by SK. Really love the DH series but was put off by the remarks about how bad the “abuse” in the book was. Almost didn’t start/finish “Acheron” because of same issue. I know about abuse and it is not something you ever get over no matter how old you get. I had a very good childhood, so when husband was abusive I didn’t get it at first of why and how come.

    Hope you feel better :)

My kiddos went back to school this past week and brought home some nifty ‘bugs’. So, I was home all weekend in bed with one of my favorite hockey romance authors Toni Aleo and her Nashville Assassins series :)
    Poor me, lol

With havin so much content and articles do you ever run into any problems of plagorism or copyright infringement?
My blog has a lot of completely unique content I’ve either authored
myself or outsourced but it seems a lot of it is popping it up all over the web without my authorization. Do you know any solutions to help protect against content from being
    stolen? I’d certainly appreciate it.
