  2. Mama always said “If you can’t say anything . . .” Well I for one have read a few of these and never put them down before I turned the last page! No, I don’t ALWAYS like super charged sex, but books are advertised by what’s in them. If the content doesn’t look like it will appeal to you, look for another title or another author. I read lots of authors, lots of different types of books. My favorite authors (Carly, you’re included) don’t always write something I’m ready to read in a particular moment but I’ll always revisit their booklists to see if I’m now interested in something I wasn’t in the mood for six weeks ago! And actually, Carly, you are one of my favorite authors because I’ve enjoyed EVERYTHING you’ve written! FIVE STARS!! :yourock:

  8. I don’t understand why people want to be mean. I know that there are lots of nasty people in the world. I just finished a book for an honest review. I cried during almost the whole book. Don’t like sad books. Did I give a nasty review? No, I gave it 4 stars because it was well written, had likeable characters, and I didn’t read any info about the book before I asked for it. So, I also said that people who like sad books would most likely give it 5 stars.

  12. OMG, those were hilarious! Melanie Marchande wrote on her FB page that she was thinking of doing this — you guys made me laugh. I am sorry you have to be subjected to nastiness but it is good to see that y’all move on. If I don’t enjoy a book, and it does sometimes happen, I move on. It happens. But to write what some folks do? There is no excuse for it. Hang in there, Authors!! We enjoy your work and probably don’t tell you often enough. Sorry about that.
